He identified a gap in the healthcare market and against huge competition set up the first Primary Care Clinic in Arabian ranches, Dubai. It was a great achievement and served a community without any medical facility at all.

His interest has always been to lead and be unique in primary healthcare services combining his clinical skills and management expertise. He has had a specialist interest in sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine having been the Club Doctor for a few League teams in Uk and UAE.

She founded the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Al Baraha Hospital and served as the Chair for five years. In her dedicated efforts to improve the healthcare status in the U.A.E., Dr. Al Marashi acted as a U.A.E. representative in the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Diabetes Control Committee in striving to control the rising number of diabetes cases in the area. In 1999, she founded and served as Chairperson of the U.A.E. National Diabetes Control committee in the Ministry of Health and was also member of the Drug Formulary Committee in Ministry of Health from 2001-2003. Afterwards she moved on to fill the position as Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Welcare Hospital before joining Dubai Healthcare City.
